About Northwest Marketplaces

For more than 35 years, Northwest Marketplaces (NWM) has produced and operated some of the Seattle region’s most beloved open-air markets and community festivals. Their organization includes the iconic Fremont Sunday Market, along with sister markets and seasonal events in Pioneer Square, Kirkland, Waterfront Park, and Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park, including the widely attended Seattle Night Market series. NWM’s mission centers on supporting and elevating local food entrepreneurs, artists, and independent makers while bringing the energy and accessibility of a European-style street market to Seattle’s neighborhoods.

Through thoughtfully curated vendor communities and vibrant public spaces, NWM continues to foster connections between small businesses and the broader community. In addition, NWM founded the South Lake Union Saturday Market more than a decade ago and remains a driving force in shaping Seattle’s urban market landscape.

About Seattle Farmers Market Association

The Seattle Farmers Market Association (SFMA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Washington farmers and strengthening local food systems through vibrant neighborhood farmers markets. SFMA operates some of Seattle’s most beloved markets, including Ballard, Wallingford, Madrona, Madison Park and the upcoming South Lake Union Farmers Markets. These markets connect thousands of residents and visitors each week with local farmers, food producers, and small businesses. Through partnerships, food access programs, and community initiatives, SFMA works to ensure farmers markets remain essential spaces for local agriculture, economic opportunity, and neighborhood connection.
