Where’s the Farmers?
We are making some big changes this year and making room for our the return of Washington-grown farmers this year with featured organizations like Fare Start with their Mobile Community Market that pulls up weekly featuring local farmers.
FARESTART - FEEDING OUR COMMUNITY
With the help of farm and community partners, Fare collect and purchase fresh food and staples and then sell and redistribute them to communities around the Seattle area. We're especially focused on neighborhoods with limited access to healthy and nutritious food. FareStart strategically resources food in a variety of ways to minimize the cost for our customers.
THE GOOD NEWS! We love our farmers and part of our expansion plans in 2026 will allow us to transition into a traditional farmers market in year-round format with our sister org, Seattle Farmers Market Association.
